Responsibilities
Captures moments in recurring services, special events, and special services.
Captures content with an exceptional range of creative, technical, and documentary imagery.
Maintains relationships with all members of the media and production teams.
Collaborates with the design, media, and production teams.
Executes standard photography operation procedures and guidelines that are established by the Creative Director and Video Production Director.
Submits images in a timely fashion via the team Dropbox.
Ensures studio output exceeds industry standards and expectations.
Drives towards continuous improvement and creative solutions.
Keeps equipment up to date, organized, and maintained.
Ensures brand standards, lighting technique, and image quality are adhered to.
A willingness to grow in your craft.
Reports to the Lead Photographer, Creative Arts Director, and Video Production Director
Interacts frequently with the Graphics Designer
Working hours
Must volunteer 10 - 20 hours per month.
Flexible schedule.
Will have the ability to choose special events to cover based on availability.
qualifications & Skills
Some knowledge of live event photography, portrait photography, and candid photography.
Strong communication skills
Maintain high standards for creative output
Strong work ethic
Basic Computer Skills and Knowledge
Ability to size images and color settings for the web and social media
Knowledge of utilizing a DSLR
Understanding of Lighting and Color Correction (both in camera and out)
Understand how to use Dropbox
education & experience
Experience with live event photography, portrait photography, and candid photography
Photojournalism is a plus
Product photography is a plus
Knowledge of DSLR and natural lighting, indoor, studio lighting techniques
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Lightroom is a plus
Must have a willingness to learn, we will train.
Must have your own camera, DSLR preferred but not requred.
